El reinado de los Angeles

La excelente miniserie de HBO "Angels in America" reunió 21 nominaciones para los Emmy 2004, seguida muy de cerca por el drama "Los Soprano" con 20 y más lejos se ubicó la siempre favorita "The West Wing" con 12. "And starring Pancho Villa as himself" —donde se relata el acuerdo al que llega el revolucionario mexicano para que Hollywood filme su vida— consiguió un total de nueve nominaciones —incluida la de Antonio Banderas como Mejor Actor—, las mismas que series como "Everybody loves Raymond", "Frasier" y "Will & Grace". El domingo 19 de setiembre, el comediante Garry Shandling será el encargado de conducir la ceremonia en la cual se conocerán los ganadores de las principales categorías. Una semana antes se entregarán los premios a rubros técnicos y categorías menores.
