El tipo de cambio volvió a bajar ayer, esta vez apenas un 0,06%

El circuito cambiario local estuvo tranquilo ayer, con el dólar operándose con un descenso marginal de 0,06%, en un contexto de reducida operativa y volatilidad mínima.

El dólar interbancario fondo se operó a $ 28,502 en promedio, con lo que acumula una caída de 0,78% en las últimas tres jornadas. En lo que va de diciembre el tipo de cambio bajó 1,54% y en 2016 un 4,59%.

El Banco República (BROU), en tanto, redujo apenas un centésimo la pizarra a $ 28,14 la compra y $ 28,87 la venta.

Agentes cambiarios consultados por El País explicaron que la jornada de ayer estuvo sumamente tranquila, con un reducido volumen de transacciones y con muy poca variación en el precio, lo que limitó la posibilidad de hacer negocios. En efecto, por medio de las pantallas de la Bolsa Electrónica de Valores (Bevsa) se concretaron 37 compraventas por US$ 15,9 millones. El precio máximo operado fue de $ 28,53 y el más bajo fue $ 28,49, culminando la jornada en niveles de $ 28,51. El cierre del miércoles había sido $ 28,53.

El presidente del Banco Central, Mario Bergara dijo ayer que "se vienen tiempos con muchísima incertidumbre" y el dólar "va a estar subiendo y bajando con mucha volatilidad".
