. - (---), 05/10/2015.- An undated handout photograph issued by the French Ministry of Defense on 15 November 2015 shows a French fighter jet part of the Operation Chammal taking off from a base in the Gulf. The French Air Force on 15 November 2015 launched a massive campaign of airstrikes against the Islamic State in its stronghold of al-Raqqa in Syria, the French news agency AFP reports, citing the Defence Ministry. The airstrikes come after at least 132 people were killed and some 350 injured in the terror attacks which targeted the Bataclan concert hall, the Stade de France national sports stadium, and several restaurants and bars in Paris on 13 November. Authorities believe that three coordinated teams of terrorists armed with rifles and explosive vests carried out the attacks, which the Islamic State (IS) extremist group has claimed responsibility for.
